What better place to get married than at the top of Schweitzer Mountain with spectacular views of 3 mountain ranges, Canada, Montana, Washington and of course, beautiful Lake Pend Oreille below. Let our wedding coordinator help you plan your special day.

On Top of the Mountain
A place to put the world on HOLD!   Breathtaking views of Lake Pend Oreille and the valley below await you in a mountain meadow atop Schweitzer Peak.   Guests ride the Great Escape Quad Chair lift to the summit.

Taps Lounge
Taps is a great location to hold your reception with spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Located adjacent to the Caribou room in the Lakeview Lodge, Taps offers full bar service, a stage and a dance floor. Taps is not available during the winter/ski season.   

Caribou Room
Wrapped in panoramic windows at the Lakeview Lodge, this room is perfect for a larger affair.   It can accommodate up to 200 people theater style and 100 people banquet style.

Village Patio
Adjoining the Village Plaza and just steps from the Taps Lounge, the patio provides an informal setting for an outdoor reception.   The Patio is not available during the winter/ski season.

Selkirk Lodge Conference Room
This room is ideal for smaller receptions. Comfortably accommodating as many as 40 people theater style and 30 people banquet style.

Event Catering We provide catering for your reception dinner to fit your every expectation. Please review our banquet menus for suggested selections. Remember we are not limited to these selections and we are happy to accommodate special requests.

• Exception: Top of Mountain rental fee includes setup, cleanup, and chairs only, for ceremony services only. Lifts open Thursday through Monday 10AM-5PM, please inquire for dates and availability.
• Room rental fee is due in full at the time of booking.
• A $250 per hour fee is applied if your event runs past its contracted time.
• Weatherproof any of our outdoor spaces with an attractive wall tent and heaters for an additional charge.
• Daily rental fee includes 8 hours, half day rental fee includes 4 hours
• Additional lift tickets available for purchase at $5 each plus applicable taxes and fees

Liquor, Beer & Wine Fees and Policies

• Hosted and no-host bars have an established minimum of $150.00 for the first hour and $75.00 per additional hour for the rest of the time scheduled. Should sales fall short of the minimum, the difference will be charged to the organization requesting the bar service.

• One bartender can efficiently serve 75 guests and additional bartenders can be requested at the rate of $30.00 per hour, per bartender.

• One cocktail server will be provided per 35 guests, additional servers can be requested at the rate of $20.00 per hour, per server.

• Schweitzer Mountain Resort enforces a $15 corkage fee per bottle of wine where applicable for any alcohol not provided by Schweitzer, which is limited to exceptions prearranged with the Fulfillment Coordinator.

• All bars must be attended by a member of the Schweitzer Mountain Resort banquet staff.

• Other accommodations can be arranged and needs met working in conjunction with the Fulfillment Coordinator.
