How to use your GuestWiFi Card:

Step 1
Set the E/SSID name for
"Your Wireless LAN Adapter" to "ANY"
(See instructions for you OS/CARD>)

Step 2
Click on your browser and your will be
redirected to the GuestWiFI log in page.

Step 3
Scratch off and enter the User ID
and Password on the back of your
GuestWiFi card.

Step 4
Enjoy your high speed connection.

Q. What is Wireless Internet Access?
A. Wireless Internet Access enables you to use your
own computer to access the Internet.  The service
is provided using Wi-Fi (802.11), a common local
area network access method for mobile computing.

Q. What do I need to use the service?
A. Your laptop computer or PDA will need to be
equipped for Wi-Fi (802.11).

Q. How do I get connected?
A. From any Wi-Fi (802.11) equipped device, set the
E/SSID of your LAN card to "ANY", launch your
Internet browser and log in the GuestWiFi network.

Q. How does it work?
A. Each person is required to start their browser program
(i.e. Internet Explorer), and log in using a
unique User ID and Password.  GuestWiFi cards
(User ID and Password) are available at the front
desk.  You can also pay-as-you-go with a major
credit card.

Q. Do you offer a helpdesk for new users?
A. A toll free number (1.888.277.6686) is provided to
help get you to get connected

Q. How do I pay for GuestWiFi service?
A. You can pay for the GuestWiFi service with cash or
by credit card and buy time by the minute, hour or
day and use the service as much as you like during
each time period.

A. Stop by the front desk.

Q. How do I log in to GuestWiFi?
A. Ask the front desk for a GuestWiFi Card, scratch
off the User ID and Password, and enter them in
to the GuestWiFi log in screen.  You can also pay-
as-you-go with a major credit card.

Q.How fast is the connection?
It's 10 times faster than dial-up Internet service

Q. Will I be able to access AOL or MSN Accounts
A. Yes, just type the URL into your browser

Q. Can I access my employers email system and network?
A. Yes, after you log in with GuestWiFI you will be
able to download and read your email, surf the
web or download a file you need for your next meeting.

How to set the E/SSID name for

Windows 95/98
If "Your Wireless LAN Adapter" is a: Cisco Systems
340 Series, Dell Truemobile 1100 Series, Intel
PRO/Wireless 2011B, Lucent, or Xircom
1. Double Click on My Computer
2. Double Click on Control Panel
3. Double Click on Network
4. In the Configuration tab, highlight
"Your Wireless LAN Adapter".
5. Click on Properties
6a. Select the Advanced tab, highlight E/SSID and
enter "ANY" in the blank on the right.
6b. Or Select the Settings tab, in the 802.11
E/SSID box, type "ANY" in the field provided.
6c. Or select the Basic tab, enter "ANY" in the
blank next to WaveLan Network Name.
7. Click OK in the "Your Wireless LAN Adapter" Screen
8. Click OK in the Network Properties screen
9. Select Restart when prompted to do so

Windows 95/98/2000/ME
If "Your Wireless LAN Adapter" is a: Dell Truemobile
1150 Series, or IBM
1. Click on Start
2. Drag the cursor to Programs
3. Drag the cursor to "Your Wireless LAN Adapter"
4. Click on Client Manager
5. Click on Edit
6. Click on Add/Edit Configuration Profile
7. Click on Edit Profile
8. In the Basic tab, enter "ANY" in the blank next to
Network Name
9. Click on OK in the Edit Configuration screen
10. Click on OK in the Add/Edit Configuration Profile screen
11. Click on OK in the "Your Wireless LAN Adapter" Screen
 12. Select Restart when prompted to do so

Windows 2000/ME
If "Your Wireless LAN Adapter" is a: Cisco Aironet Dell
Truemobile 1100 Series, Intel PRO/Wireless 2011B,

1. Right click on My Network Places, then left click on Properties
2. On the Local Area Connection for "Your Wireless
LAN Adapter", right click once on the icon and left
click on Properties
3.Click on the Configure tab under the "Your Wireless
Adapter" name
4a. Click on the Advanced tab
4b. Or, Click on the Setting tab
5a. Select Network Name and enter "ANY" in blank on right
5b. Or, in the 802.11 E/SSID box, type "ANY" in the field provided
6. Click OK in the "Your WIreless LAN Adapter" Properties screen
7. Click OK in the Network and Dial-up Connection screen
8. Select Restart when prompted to do so

Windows NT
1. Double Click on My Computer
2. Double Click on Control Panel
3. Double Click on Network
4. Click on the Adapter tab
5. Highlight "Your Wireless LAN Adapter", then click Properties
6. Select the Advanced tab, highlight E/SSID and enter
"ANY" in blank on right
7. Click OK in the Wireless Ethernet Adapter Properties screen
8. Click OK in the Network Properties screen
9. Select Restart when prompted to do so

Mac OS
1. Select the Airport program in the Apple menu
2. Click the triangle marked Settings
3. Check the menu labeled Choose Network
4. Select "ANY" from the Choose Network menu
5. You should see a green bar indicating signal level
6. Start you web browser and log in
